Writer's Block: Volunteering
Hmmm... I dunno. I try to do it in the little things like just helping out in general, but lately I've been really antsy and want to do something bigger. So, week after next I'm doing the Relay for Life, and I plan on doing a Schools for Schools/Invisible Children thing at my school. If anyone is reading this, bug me to do it. Don't let me chicken out.
Which gets me thinking. Why are people always frightened at the thought of presenting some sort of charity thing? Are we just that terrified of steeping out, of being judged? That's one thing that needs to change in the world. Come on, people. I would rant about it but who wants to read that. The questions are enough.

But don't ask me how I ran into your journal. That's more creepy. :P
Anyhow when I saw your tag Invisible Children, my mind freakedddd. YOU SHOULD DO SCHOOLS FOR SCHOOLS!!! Seriously, it's so much fun and amazing, and the kids in Uganda are desperate for it. <333 Try to best us this year. :P
And ooh, your school does Schools for Schools? What are you doing? How are you doing it? How can I do it at my school? >.> My school is brand new- seriously, there aren't even Seniors yet- so they just let you start whatever. Alas, you are in California, too. I'm not sure my tiny institution will be able to trump yours, but we can try! *cough*
<3 Thanks.
